In the heart of a small valley at the foot of the Tramontana mountain range stands Monnàber Vell, a Mallorcan stately home, converted in 1998 into a country hotel consisting of 12 rooms and suites, each providing their own glimpse of the essence of Mediterranean countryside at its finest. This beautiful Finca, and the tranquillity surrounding it, provides the ideal setting for meditation, small excursions, hiking or cycling tours and is a perfect starting point to visit historic places such as Lluch, Pollença and Alcúdia. The splendid bay of Alcúdia is situated just a 20 minute drive away. Founded in the 13th Century, Monnàber Vell has been preserved throughout the ages, and even in today's 21st Century, original architectural features form an integral part of the 155 hectare estate. Each room and suite within Monnàber Vell has been uniquely reformed respecting the original architectural characteristics, combining these with modern comfort and technology. These luxurious spaces leave you with a relaxed feeling enabling you to enjoy the real meaning of the Mediterranean way of life at its best. The "Capitana" y "Arbossera" suites also have a 140cm Sofa bed, providing accommodation for up to two children. GRAN SUITE. Measuring 115 m², the Gran Suite is the largest room in Monnàber with a spacious living and sleeping area and a separate small bedroom. The bathroom is equipped with a double bathtub and a separate shower with a large shower head. The restaurant at Monnàber Vell offers a wide variety of traditional Mediterranean style cooking. Our dishes are created by our talented chefs using many home grown products available from the estate such as almonds, figs, olives and livestock. Monnàber Vell consists of 155 hectares of land, dedicated mainly to agricultural activities. Dozens of tress (carab, olive, almond, pine, fig, oak, black poplar, elm, wild laurels) change colours together with the seasons. The collaboration of their colours, textures and scents combine together to give Monnàber Vell it's unique "Zen" like atmosphere. Monnàber Vell is situated in the borough of Campanet in north western Mallorca. One side opens onto the Serrra de Tamontana mountain rage, while the other faces Es Pla de Mallorca, the heart of the Island's agricultural sector.
